I have just started building a new PC, what size m2 nvme ssd would you use for the scratch / cache drive?

I will be working with Braw 4k files (if I can get them to work!)

Project length will be up to 2 hours.

Are you going to be working on more than one project at a time, with different temp files for each project?

Or only one project and you delete the temp files when the project is done?

I only work with "regular" HD files, but I do switch between as many as 4 projects, and I have never come close to filling my temp drive... I do delete the temp files for a project when it is done

256Gig SSD Boot for Win10 64bit Pro and ALL program installs

256Gig SSD data for temporary and video project files

512Gig SSD data for all input video files from camera

128Gig SSD data for all exported output video files

Only one or two projects at a time. At the monent my planned disc setup is 1Tb boot and program SATA SSD, 1Tb M2 for media files, ?Tb M2 Cache drive and two 8Tb HDD in raid 1 for Short term Backup. Long term storage on a couple of Drobos which I already have. Not sure the best for exports.
