Can I use a cheap Quattro solely for 10bit display, but do my realtime rendering on a GTX

Like the title says, can I buy a cheaper Quattro card that outputs 10bit for an HDR monitor, but actually render and do live playback with a stronger GTX card like a 1070 or 1080?
