Question

Capture audio and video from different hardware sources

Hello,

I'm a systems engineer and don't have a CC installation in my office.

Does anyone know if it's possible to capture live input from different audio and video sources?  In this case, it would be an AJA IOXT for the video, and USB (core audio) for audio tracks.  The idea is to get multi-channel audio directly from a mixer with a USB connection, while also recording the video from the IOXT (without needing to embed all the audio tracks into the SDI video).  I have no way to determine if Premiere will allow this and it's too specialized for the manual.

Thank you!

One stream at a time and so long as the devices are recognized, sure...

Capturing and digitizing footage in Premiere Pro

I remember MovieRecorder from Softron being able to do what I think you want to do..

What would you like to do with the files after recording? Why not just record the audio and video separately they sync them up later?
