Does Premiere use Intel Arc codec acceleration yet?

I'm building a new Threadripper Pro system this month and am wondering if it makes sense to include an Intel Arc gpu alongside my Nvidia one. I really would like hardware accelerated decoding of h.265 10-bit 4:2:2 in order to handle the 8K coming from my Canon R5 without proxies. Neither Nvidia nor AMD offer hw acceleration for this codec but Intel Arc rips through it like butter in Resolve. There was a mention in the known issues a while back that it didn't work yet in Premiere, but I'm curious if that's been fixed yet before I go order an Arc card.

Thanks!

Right now the available drivers for Intel's ARC discrete GPUs still have teething problems. And Adobe's support for the ARC discrete graphics is spotty at best. Unfortunately, Nvidia's support for hardware decoding of HEVC 10-bit material is restricted to 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 (no 4:2:2 support at all). And Adobe currently restricts hardware decoding support for all PCs with discrete GPUs to 4:2:0.
