Dual CPU Socket?

I've heard that Adobe only utilizes up to 10 Cores. Is this 10 cores per processor or can adobe handle/utilize multiple/dual processors each with up to ten cores? So, for example, would essentially I have twice the processing power with two 10 core CPU's and therefore render twice as fast in Premiere?

Additional CPU sockets WILL create a whole new set of issues, not the least of which substantially increased latency.

And Premiere Pro will only effectively utilize up to around 10 total CPU cores per ENTIRE PC system. More cores will result in (greatly) diminishing returns with regards to increased performance.
