egpu current state

Hi there,

I see that a few folks are using eGPUs on their Macs with PP2018, but as much as I could find on the web, PP is not really improving much in performance, more like the opposite.

Is it worth adding the eGPU? What exactly would be the benefits? I'd be running it from a MacBook Pro13,3.
