External GPU and Mac Mini with High Sierra

Hi!

I know, Mac Mini is good for offices tasks, print server, stuffs like that. But i edited videos, some a lot of them, in true. Its been so painfull! If i take a GPU with CUDAS and plug in my thunderbolt, my performance will improve?
