Even though I enable cuda acceleration in premiere and the program recognizes the card, when I apply some effects a message appears on the screen (this effect requires GPU acceleration) does anyone know if it's on the card or in the program and how to solve it?

Well, your GPU has only 2 GB of VRAM, right? Well, Premiere Pro 2019 (13.x.x) now recommends a GPU that has 4 GB or more VRAM in order to run properly. If your GPU is short on VRAM, then some of the effects may return that message to you.

I have an older PC with an AMD 8320  8 core 3.5gh cpu and I had a quadro 5000 which just died. I understand that until I update my system I will not be able to use mercury playback engine acceleration, but can anyone tell me what GPU to use to replace the quadro 5000 that will work ok with premier and my cpu?
