GPUSniffer: Unrecoverable GPU Failure detected

Hello there,

I'm trying the Premiere CC 2019 but at the start shows the issue "Adobe premiere could not find any capable video play modules". I have a Nvidia GTX 1050ti in a desktop pc.

I google it and found that the file GPUSniffer.exe is the one who detects the GPU to adobe programs, in this case, Premiere. But when i started the GPUSniffer showed me this:

GPUSniffer testing 254

Unrecoverable GPU Failure detected

Full Test test failed, trying No Metal

At this moment, I cant open the Premiere App because of the "video play modules".

I aprreciate any help. Thanks.

I had the pusniffer crash my Mac and it did not recover. They told me it is a known issue but I can't get my service paused even though I am waiting for a new one that will arrive in December. Now customer service just hangs up. How do you guys get in touch with Adobe and their awful customer service?

Same issue here... I have a RTX 2060.. Updated Nvidia drivers 3x over span of 2 months to the latest. Reverting back to 13.0.1 works just fine.

Same exact issue, Premiere Pro 18 at least loads but only uses the CPU. Does not detect my graphics card. (RX 580)

Fresh install of display drivers, no luck.

I also have the GTX 1050 Ti and I also have this problem with ver 3.0.2. Ver 3.0.1 works fine, so I doubt that the given advice will help - I've gone through this with no positive result whatsoever. Neither the current ver 417.71 or previous versions have solved the issue. I can only suggest going back to an earlier version - for me it is 3.0.1 and there are no problems. The programme loads and works as it should.

The GTX 1050 Ti is well within the required specs as it has 4GB Ram.

For some reason this problem affects some and not others.
