Among very recent generation GPUs, go with an RTX. Especially if you are running a higher-end recent CPU. You see, since Turing the GTX series has been relegated to the lower end of the GPU performance spectrum, and no new GTX GPUs have been released since the GTX 16 series (other than the GTX 1630, which is a gimped GTX 1650 GDDR6 version with 64-bit memory instead of the 1650's 128-bit memory). Any future GTX-designated GPUs, if such GPUs will ever be released, will simply be gimped versions of the RTX parts.
