Hardware Question!

Hello everyone! First time in the Adobe forums, hopefully the community here is great.

I work for a non-profit church organization and we are wanting to upgrade our current workstation(my home PC built back in 2010 for 1k). I've been doing a bit of reading and I currently have no time to build a PC nor to ask for one. I found some sites that do sell ready made workstations and I just really need an input or advice before we make a worthwhile investment.

Adobe Premiere Pro - Recommended Titan Computers Workstation configuration

I'm currently looking in that link and their recommended computers. I have mediocre knowledge on what I need in terms of hardware so I would like to ask for advice from the community. We are non-profit and I would really like to get the best bang for the buck.

The goals:

  • Faster Render times(of course)
  • No lag live playback
    • this includes multiple layers of video clips all with their own adjustment layers that contains Lumetri Color adjustments(at least one adjustment layer with a mask on opacity)
    • at least one layer of an after effects composition imported form an AE file (Title cards and Bible verses)
    • multiple layers of sound as well(not really an issue)
  • and the possibility of working with 4k videos(not a priority)

Would building my own PC really be more beneficial or should I just go to the pre-built workstations?

Looking forward to your feedbacks!

Much of this would be good to post in the Hardware forum, but as I'm on my phone I don't have the link to post for you.

On the Overview page there's a list of associated forums and one is ... the Hardware forum.

There are a couple companies that build great rigs specifically for PrPro, Safe Harbor and Puget Sound Systems.

Bill Gehrke is the master of the details of various hardware bits and performance,  and he "hangs" over there with some very sharp and helpful people.
