Hi!

How much of RAM do I need and the same with Mhz?

I'm doing much things with your softwares like After Effects, Premiere Pro, illustrator and Photoshop.

And other software programs like Cinema 4D, Sony Vegas and more.

This is my currently PC

i5 4670k 3.8Ghz (no OC)

16GB 1600Mhz.

GTX 980 Ti (I'm using 1440p as monitor and as current res)

750W EVGA SuperNova G2.

Here's my build for Feb 2019 (with RAM as the only thing left)

i7 6850k (Going to OC)

MSI x99a GODLIKE Gaming

970 EVO M2 SSD 1TB.

GPU and PSU will be the same as current.

Here's a different setup of RAM I'm not sure which one to select...?

1 - 32GB - 8x4GB - 3000Mhz - CL15 - If RAM speed matter i'll save money of smaller RAM in GB.

2 - 64GB - 8x8GB - 2666Mhz - CL16 - If More RAM does matter, I'll save money of lower frequency.

Vad does matter, RAM memory or RAM Frequency and which of my setups will be the best?

More RAM definitely matters.  You're CPU supports 128 gigs so don't fill up all 8 of your RAM slots with low GIG RAM STicks.

Use 16gig Dimms so you can upgrade in the future without having to throw out what you already have.

Also After EFfects prefers fewer cores and higher base clock speeds but After Effects is not the only software you're buying for so you need to consider all of them.

So 2666 and 3000Mhz doesn't matter it is RAM memory?

I am editing a movie in GreenScreen, 3D Tracking and BrushTool and other effects in high 1440p and maybe 4K in the future..

And my current PC can't handle that, not even Cinema 4D to render 3D object which is full of light and ambient occlusion effects.

That's why i asked about RAM count or RAM Frequency.

I can't speak too intelligently on the the speed difference's actual "real world" effect on performance but doing a quick google search seems to say that, depending on the app, there can be as much as a 10% difference in speed so take that for what it's worth.  The thing about RAM that's different than other hardware is that you don't have to purchase it all at once.  Looks like the difference between 2 16gig 2666 sticks and 2 16gig 3000 sticks is about $60.  I think 2666mhz will be just fine
