Is GeForce 1050Ti supported with Premiere Pro 2017?

Premiere Pro 2015 plays great, 2017 won't play any video. I have tried multiple formats.

Windows 10 Home 64 bit

NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5

1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive + 128GB Solid State Drive (yeah I know)

    1. Get rid of that 5400 rpm drive or go external with something like the Samsung T3 USB 3 portable SSD,Drive.
    2. Try different newer GPU drivers from nVidia, are you getting MPE GPU acceleration.
    3. How much RAM memory?
    4. I have a 3-old laptop well tuned that plays back everything I have thrown at it
