Issues running Premiere Pro CC on my laptop

Hello,

I'm new to all the Premiere Pro and video editing stuff.

I thought that I own a pretty performat machine

Acer Notebook

i7-7700 HQ 2,8 GHz
16 gig RamNVIDIA 1060 GTX with 6 GByte of dedicated Video RAM

Two SSD

and the machine isn't able to decode 4k 30 p Video in reduced (1/8) resolution in realtime.

Export of 10 min 1080p content took 14hrs.

I have checked that CUDA is active in the Premiere Pro settings & Media endoder settings.

Got no idea what the bottleneck could be. Maybe someone out there can help me.

Thx

Björn

Are you using it with the power supply connected?

If not, the processor will throttle down.

Yes, but I think is more or less connected to another issue I came across in this forum.

It seems to be that the configuration with internal and dedicated GPUs the internal will be used instead of the world more powerfull NVIDIA.

    Still looking for a solution
