Laptop spec for Premiere Elements 2021

I’m looking for a laptop spec suitable to run Premiere Elements 2021.

As a given, CPU - i7 10750H, RAM - 16GB, HDD - 512GB (SSD).

But I’m not sure when it comes the Graphics / GPU?

One m/c I’m looking at has a GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, which is on the compatible list for Prem Pro, but not for Essentails.

Another option is the GeForce GTX 1660TI 6GB, again on the list for Pro but not Essentials.

I’ve also seen commentary to the effect that Elements does not utilise GPU capability? But there are Graphics Cards included in the System Requirements detailed for Elements. (but not any that seem to included in a mid price laptop config)

All comments, views, suggestions and input most welcome.

    Actually, as of now, the RTX 2060 (both desktop and mobile), as well as the desktop RTX 2060 SUPER, are on the "supported" (actually, recommended) list for Premiere Elements. The GTX 1660 Ti is not on the list per se, but the lesser-performing GTX 1650 is. GPUs that are not on the "supported" list for Premiere Elements are not necessarily incompatible; they're just untested.

     

    And there is no CUDA acceleration at all whatsoever in Premiere Elements. Only OpenCL (Windows) or Metal (Mac) are supported. Fortunately, OpenCL performance with the newer Nvidia GPUs is nowhere near as bad as it was during the Fermi GPU era.

     

    There is, however, an Adobe Essentials package that combines Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements for one discounted price. (I go by "Elements," not "Essentials," when referring to the individual programs that are included in the Essentials package.)

    ”Typo” on my behalf “Essentials” should read “Elements 🙂

    Have now also found a m/c with  a Quadro P620 4GB spec, which I think is also on the Elements 2021 compatibility list.

    Skip the P620. It is a cut-down version of the GeForce GTX 1050 (non-Ti) that's basically been handicapped with lower memory throughput (80 GB/s versus 112 GB/s) and has fewer CUDA cores (512 versus 640, not that CUDA matters in Elements which does not use that API).

    Do you mean Premiere Elements 2021?
