Low PugetBench score in premiere pro

So I recently got a new relatively good PC and ran a premiere pro pugetbench score on it and got some pretty lackluster results so was wondering if anyone had an idea how to make it better. Everyone else I see on the bencmarks there with similar specs are getting way higher results than mine.

Windows 10

Intel i7-12700k

1 stick of 32 gb ram @3600mhz

Rtx 3080 10 GB

1 TB SSD NVME.2 read write speeds of 1200-1500 MB

I ran the test thrice and they came up with vastly different results

I don't really get into benchmarks myself. Having said that there are some performance issues with Premiere Pro as seen in the video link below.

One definite problem plus one possible problem:

The definite problem is the memory bandwidth and memory throughput. With only one stick of RAM, you are running in single-channel-only memory controller mode when the memory controller is capable of dual-channel operation. That means that your CPU is only getting half the memory throughput that it is supposed to get in the first place.

The possible second problem is that the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 is disabled by default on motherboards from Asus and Gigabyte when a discrete GPU is installed, thereby also disabling QuickSync decoding and encoding. Sounds like you might have just added the "F" designation to your i7-12700K (making it effectively an "i7-12700KF") due to the motherboard disabling the IGP by default.

Scratch the second paragraph.

To modify the first paragraph, not only you're running memory in single-channel-only mode, but also you're running it at a clock speed that's below what your RAM is advertised at. In the first test, you're only running your single-channel RAM at 2400 MHz, whereas your second and third tests were run with the RAM running at only 2933 MHz. This will degrade your system's performance, especially in the export, effects and GPU scores that are well below what the RTX 3080 is capable of with your CPU. Your export score should have been over 100 with a properly tuned and configured i7-12700K/RTX 3080 setup, whereas your system scored in the 60's at best in that department.

For comparison, my i7-12700K with properly configured 64 GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM that's running at the advertised 3600 MHz but with a lesser-performing RTX 2060 SUPER GPU scored close to 1100 in the overall Standard preset score most of the time, with a Standard export score around 95.

To recap:

The bottleneck in your system is your RAM configuration. You need a second stick of RAM just to bring your total system performance up to par with other PCs with the same CPU/GPU combination, and to also enable XMP in your system's BIOS/EFI so that your RAM is also running at its advertised speed. Without XMP, your RAM will run natively at a much slower speed (or more precisely, the fail-safe JEDEC speed and timings).

Hey thank you so much for all the tips. Should I go ahead and buy the same stick of ram that I have one of? Will that do the trick? Also, I tried enabling the xmp and making my ram go to 3600mhz but my pc refuses to boot up so don't know how to go about that. I shall get another stick of ram asap and update you with what I find.

Kingston Fury beast 3600mhz is the ram I have right now. Should I get another stick of this and will that my pc run on dual channel mode?
