Mini pc vs Xps

Hi,

I'm ready to buy a new system for 4k editing. My choices: a Dell xps w 32 g ram . 1 tb ssd, rtx 2060  or an Intel NUC817hvk mini pc/htpc intel quad i7 8809g 4,2ghz 32gb ddr4, 2tb ssd.

I'm leaning towards the mini but not sure if premiere would work well w the  amd radeon rx vega m gh card.

Any advice?

Thx,

Michael

In this case, go for the XPS: You'll get a true 8-core CPU with that XPS while the Mini has only a quad-core CPU. CPU power trumps GPU power to begin with. While program response between the two is almost equal, the render performance is significantly slower in the Mini than in the XPS.
