New Desktop PC build for Premiere Pro ... ???
Hi everyone,
A couple of weeks ago I posted about my 'several year old' laptop not coping with running Premiere Pro. In a nutshell, the answer was 'get a new computer'.
I'm no computer excpert by any means but after much research, I now have a good base knowledge of the specs needed to efficiently run Premeire Pro. I was keen on another laptop but with the cost and limiting nature of a laptop, I have decided to go with a desktop set up.
Now, due to massive delays and supply issues with computer components here in New Zealand, my computer guy is not able to source the parts/compnents I had in mind but is able to get hold of a HP Z4 G4 Tower workstation with the following specs.
What are your thoughts on the build and its ability to efficiently run Premiere Pro without lag and speed issues, also the 'future proofing' of the set up. (With it being a desktop set up I realise that I may be able to upgrade some bits and pieces further down the track).
