New Monitor for K4000 CC2017

Hi Guys,

I've got a Quadro K4000 with a limitation of 2500px across. I was looking at the dell UP3017 but really want the best for what I can afford. 30 inches is about the biggest I really want...would actually not mind two 27" monitors. $700-$1000 is my range.

Would really appreciate any input.

Do you want or need 10-bit display capability--those monitors a very expensive?  That Kepler based card is several generations old and if you use the Display Port (which many current displays support) you actually could get 3840 x 2160 resolution if there really is any need for more resolution.  Also it has only 768 CUDA cores.  Except that apparently you apparently have only a PCIe Gen 2 bus, your card is a single slot width and your may have power limitations, you could consider a new graphic card and monitor upgrade.

    Bill,

Roger all that and thanks. Yea, I'm working on systems that are older and need a simple solution - I'm using $100 monitors and have to upload, look at another system to see what it looks like, then color correct again...and back and forth. It's a mess.

Upgrading the card isn't really an option. Looking for a good monitor - with respect to color. 10bit is not really necessary, but we are going to upgrade the system in the future...
