Can anyone tell me if this laptop will be capable of running Premiere Pro and editing HD/4k video to a hobby level?

You will need to use it plugged in to the power adapter or it will throttle down to a processor speed too low to give a happy editing experience, but even then you will need to use proxies.

The 128 GB SSD is too small. It will quickly fill up with applications and Windows updates installed.

Thanks Bob. So really I'd be better off buying a more powerful machine?

Am I expecting too much thinking I'll find a capable laptop under £1500? As I say, this is just for use at a hobby level to edit drone footage. Splicing a few clips together and adding audio.

You may be able to find a laptop in that price range, but you will have to use proxies.

    I don't use a laptop, so I'm afraid I can't make a specific recommendation.
