Hi All!

Looking to build my first pc and am struggling with where to allocate money on the main components, and finding microATX compatible parts for Ryzens new 7 2700x and (if that CPU truly is the right fit for my needs). I tried to be as thorough as possible, any help is appreciated, thanks so much in advance!

Budget: would like to keep it around $1,800, but would go up $2,300 if necessary (no peripherals)

Location: home office, but would like to keep it smaller if possible because i travel often and would love to throw a handle on a microATX

Use: Video editing mainly (premiere pro) with gaming as an afterthought (battlefield, titanfall2, pubg)

Premiere Pro is used 3-6 hrs/day for editing wedding video (rendering, playback) . I shoot about 20 weddings/year plus commercial work, each wedding is about 60-100gb of cine4 .mp4 footage shot on my Sony A7Sii in 1080, but would like to eventually use its 4K modes. I usually have a couple hundred clips in a 5-7 minute finished project with 2 LUTs and a grain layer added, and warp stabilizer used fairly often (15-25% of the clips).

Peripherals: if anyone has any recommendations on a trackpad for scrubbing video timeline w/ my non mouse hand that would be amazing!
