Premiere Pro 2019 and Dual eGpu

Hi,

i am using a single sonnet Thunderbolt3 eGPU box with radeon rx 580 with a 2016 macbook pro quad I7. i know my macbook supports 2 eGpu boxes. If I add a 2nd eGPU box with a radeon rx 580 will premiere work better with 5k R3D files? On my desktop 12 core macpro with a red rocket x card premiere can work easily in R3D. the laptop not so much...

No. Multiple graphics cards works poorly on desktops. I can't imagine how bad it'll work in this scenario.

thanks. hmmm... maybe I need to add a eGPU with a REd Rocket x card instead. but thats EOL already. Or I can wait till r3d decodes in metal .
