Premiere Pro and Media Encoder causing computer shutdown when using Mercury Playback Engine

My new Dell precision with windows 10, 16GB Ram and M1200 Quadro card regularly shuts down during rendering or export for videos - but only when the Mercury engine is turned on. Of course this is a serious drawback for editing on such a pricey laptop. I am using the latest Premiere on the cloud, and have made sure the Nvidia drivers are up to date.

Is there anything I am overlooking?
