Recommended AMD and NVIDIA video adapters for GPU acceleration

I have a question...do I need to purchase a GPU that has been recommended by Adobe?  I would like to get the GeForce GTX 1070 but this card and many others that I'm interested in are not listed.  I just want to make sure I make the best choice for fast rendering and no crashes! 

I currently have the Radeon R9 370 installed and with the new update of Premier 2017, it crashes all the time!  Very frustrating.  I do know this card is not recommended by Adobe.

Any help?

    Before you change cards try running in a CMD window Adobe's GPUSniffer.exe to see what it says.  Here is my R9-280X that works fine

    But the nVidia CUDA card are higher performance than AMD/ATI OpenCL cards
