Hi All, 

 I would like to get  little bit help about  coming back to my old profession.
I have done Masters in Media Design about 15 years ago. I had used  all  software you can name it.
But I felt like  Dinosaur to coming back to New world (  particularly video editing). 
 I would like to buy a new Desktop  for Video editing and any Fresh Course which would help? Any help would be appreciated.

I would call a vendor that builds editing computers ( there are quite a few, and this is one of them...https://www.pugetsystems.com/ )

They can help with (if you give budget range ) the hardware and software issues...

Also they will know of good sources of information and documentation and maybe even 'courses' to learn the program(s).  In the end they want to make a sale so you can only expect a certain amount of help before they run out of time to spend with you so be honest and sincere etc.

 

If you talk to people here it will be very disparate info. Like, what OS do you want ? What is your goal specifically ( documentary, movies, etc. )... those questions and back and forth with users here would go on for a very very long time before you end up in a position where you can then do YOUR OWN research and know what you want in general ....
