Slow application startup after installing CC 2017

I recently installed the latest CC 2017. Since the upload, I have found that the applications take a good 60 seconds to load. It has really slowed down my workflow and left me unsure about how to fix this. I also run suitcase 3 for my fonts which is now not working.

Mac Pro (Mid 2010)

Processor 3.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon

Memory 8Gb
