Switch to PC from Mac - new build Intel or AMD?

Hey everyone,

I've been massive Mac used for over a decade with a long distaste for PC but mac is not supporting the heavy Premiere professional within reason so I'm looking to jump ship.

I've been scouring videos about hackitoshes but I think pure windows may be best.

Looking at the new AMD thread ripper vs Intel i7/i9 i've come across better results for the i7 w fewer cores (sub 10).

Any thoughts on Premiere supporting more cores in the future or of AMD vs Intel?
