Hello.

Need help.

I can't work with .mov files hevc (h.265) 1080p

Premiere CC 2019  open a files but not played. (video duration does't matter)

.mov hevc h.265 processes only Intel 6th Gen  Is that true?

My CPU is i5 3th Gen.

What to do, need to buy a processor or there are other ways (with software)

What do you think?

By the way, I use Windows 7/10 x64

Ok folks, we have 2019.... It must be possible to playback mov clips HEVC 10 bit  4:2:0 recorded on mavic pro 2 in Permiere CC2019.

Playback was possible in Premiere CC2018. Also I'm used to bugs and errors producing with adobe this is huge pain, again!

My specs are awesome,,, I don't want to convert all footage...  so where is the solution?

Yeah we need a solution, Premiere should read this files. No time for converting all my footage -.-

I can't believe this hasn't been addressed and is cited as a resource issue.  "Use proxies?"  Come on.  This is clearly a codec/application issue.

Same problem recording with Filmic Pro HVEC codec on a Samsung Galaxy s10 and editing on a i7 8700k GTX 980ti and 32GB ram.It simply didn't work and I will need to convert all footage in Adobe Media Encoder (thanks tha at least Media encoder reads perfetcly that format).

I have the same problem here but I have Iphone 7 Plus generating HEVC video files.

When I use GoPro 7 Plus generating the same 4k resolution I don´t see any problem.

My system:

Core i7 8700K

NVidia 1050TI

32GB RAM

SSD Intel 750 400GB

When will Premiere be able to read these files? No time for converting all the footage!

Same problem here with video recorded with an iPhone Xs Max; Premiere Pro 2019 doesn't process these files properly: playback is choppy and frames are repeated.

Trust me, it's not a horsepower issue: I'm using a brand new RTX 2080 graphic card and an i7 processor.

Did anyone find a solution? And no, converting the files before importing them into Premiere is not a solution, just an annoying workaround.

Thank you for message.

Now I stop trying to use another computers (rtx 2080... no comment). Unfortunately I haven’t found any solutions yet (converting only)

By the way, DaVinchi Resolve works incorrectly too (is not a panacea)

Please post your computer specs, be specific.

H.265 is highly compressed, needs horsepower.

Might want to consider using Proxies
