Thoughts on this destop build for Premiere Pro editing ...

Hi everyone,

 

Just wanted to get some feedback and thoughts on the following computer build in terms of running (and future proofing) Premiere Pro. My computer guy's supplier has unexpectedly had some components come into the country that he can get his hands on ... instead of me having to buy an 'off the shelf' desktop computer..

Anyway, would really appreciate your thoughts on the following specs ...

    Keep in mind that you will not be able to use one of the m.2 slots at all with the i9-10900K CPU/Z590 motherboard combo because the 10th-Gen Intel CPUs do not have the four additional PCIe lanes that are necessary to even be connected at all to that m.2 slot. Only the new 11th-Gen CPUs, which are due to become available this coming Tuesday, have the four extra PCIe 4.0 lanes to even utilize that m.2 slot at all.

     

    And I would also like a better CPU cooler than that H60 V2. You see, that i9-10900K produces a lot more than 125W worth of heat - in fact, with Gigabyte's ignoring the power limits set forth by Intel, that i9-10900K actually produces more than 250W worth of heat! Under such a condition, that i9-10900K will throttle its clock speed down at even stock speeds when used with that H60 V2..
