What CPU for Adobe Premiere?

Hi everyone,

I want to upgrade my system and think of a new CPU. I am willing to go up to a Intel Core i9 9900K 8x 3.60GHz. But there are also cheaper and also powerful i7s out there. So I wonder how Adobe Premiere would benefit from an i9 over an i7. Encoding has a significant impact on my daily workflow, so that's an important issue to me. 🙂

Apart from core count and clock speed - does the i9 deliver any additional features Premiere benefits from?
