What sound card/USB are you using for Surround Sound?

Okay, I'm pretty stymied.  Haven't needed to do surround sound for over a year, now I need it.  The last couple of updates to Windows and to Premiere CC appear to have broken the SoundBlaster X-Fi which previously had worked fine for several years in a 5.1 setup.  Adobe no longer provides any recommendations other than ASIO.  Saw someone who said they were having luck with an Audigy FX, so got one of those, no dice at all.  So I got an USB device from StarTech, also no dice.  I cannot find any posts from anybody recently having good results with a specific sound card.  SOOOO -- are you doing 5.1 sound successfully on your Windows 10 machine with Premiere Pro CC 12.1.2 or 13.1.2?  If so, WHAT IS THE CARD?????????
