What SSD's and how to configure for custom pc build
So I am currently getting ready to build a custom pc optimized for video editing (mainly premiere, and some after effects). I'm relatively new to custom pc builds and I'm not sure which SSD's to get and how to configure them for the best premiere performance. I've heard that you want to get two SSD's to separate your OS and programs from your video files and current projects, and I'm wondering if this is necessary or not. If it is, how should I configure this when my mother board only has 1 M.2 NVMe slot and the rest are SATA ports? I've heard that the Samsung 970 evo plus 1 TBs are very fast SSD's, so should I put that in the M.2 slot then buy an additional internal SATA SSD? If so, would it be better to put the OS and programs on the internal SATA SSD and put the video files and working projects on the NVMe since its faster? Or is this all unnecessary and I should just put everything on the Samsung 970 evo plus 1 TB M.2?
I do professional video and edit a lot of 4k footage, some projects are 1 hour of 4k footage.
Here's what I'm putting in it:
