Question
Which drive best used for media cache, Gen4 m.2 vs sata ssd C drive.
So I have two choices for media cache folder both with tradeoffs.
I can dedicated an entire Samsung Evo Sata SSD with the slower speeds of
540 MB/s Sequential Read AND 520 MB/s Sequential Write, with nothing else using that drive.
-OR-
I can choose a gen 4 nvme m.2 with 2100mb read and 1700 write, the tradeoff here is this is also my C drive, with the Adobe apps installed to this drive.
Which would be the best choice?
