Question

Will Maxing all Settings on Nvidia Control Panel for PP and AE Improve Performance?

I was searching for tips to improving video editing performance (Premiere Pro and After Effects) on the internet. I came across these two videos which are quite unique out there. I kept searching blogs and  youtube for some backing up for this but couldn't find any.

But out of desperation, I went and did this anyway. According to my personal experience, I couldn't find much difference in performance. If anything, AE and PP was crashing more often. Although this could be because of multitude of factors as I was nearing completion for this video with a lot of graphics. So, with my limited technical knowledge, I can't blame it on tweaking these settings.

So, I am posting it here. Please shed light on this. It would not only help me but many other beginners like me with mediocre PC trying to improve performance. Thanks

Sorry, but that booster only applied to Premiere Pro 2019 - and only with equipment that's already current and high-end at the time. With lower-end and/or older equipment, the booster will only make things unstable while barely making a dent in overall performance. So, do not try that at all if your PC isn't up to the task.

In other words, in your case, it's just like putting even more lipstick on a pig.

    Thanks for clarifying.

Is it you who posted those videos?

I hope (and I think), I wasn't criticising the suggestions in the video. I am not tech savvy to do that.

BTW some people can only afford pigs, not horses.
