Considering purchasing the new 27in Imac and I would like to know if the Radeon Pro 5500 XT with 8GB of GDDR6 memory will work with Adobe Premier Pro?

Premiere Pro will run. Just don't expect performance that's anywhere close to a Windows PC with the same CPU but a decent Nvidia GPU that costs $150-ish. Relatively speaking, Premiere Pro chokes on an AMD Radeon GPU compared to an Nvidia GPU of the same price.

You'll be fine if you are editing 1080p or 4k videos.

Yes, Premiere Pro runs great on just about any iMac from 2012 and up.

If it happens to be a base model with 8GB of RAM, upgrade that to 32GB (more if your budget allows for it).

have you checked the minimum specs for premiere?

I'd suggest that you ask someone at an apple store, but having recently asked some questions there, can't suggest you'll get an accurate answer

Yes. I actually reviewed the specs over and over and they do not include the above mentioned graphics cards. I have spoken to several Apple specialists and every answer varied... nothing special there. Adobe also failed at an answer. Worst case scenario it does not work and I have to move to Final Cut Pro. Just was not interested in learning a new software. Thank You for responding.
