Adobe Capture crashes: Unable to Save Shape files

August 2021 update broke Adobe Capture for me. I have already submitted a couple feedback reports in which I included as much information and the steps I took to try to troubleshoot.

 

Tablet: Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M

 

Issue:
When I import a photo or take a photo, I click on shapes, On the next screen, if I try to crop or save, the app hangs up and crashes. When I try to open shape files I have worked on priviously, it freezes up and crashes if I try to save. I cleared cache, deleted data, uninstalled app, reinstalled it and restarted tablet.

 

I was able to save a shape once when I did not make any changes but I cannot edit as it freezes up and crashes.

 

I am able to create Color and Pattern assets with no issues saving. Although I have previously used Adobe Capture just to create shape files. 

 

Please assist.

    Thank you for your response. I really appreciate that.

     

    Last week, I was able save my files, but I would have to crop my image before editing the shape file. If I decided to crop after editing my shape image and I tried to save it would crash and lose my progress. I also noticed whenever I would save multiple times the simplify option was degrading the vector image. So basically it was still acting very buggy for me.

     

    Today, there is an October update  so I applied that update and it appears to not be buggy right now and is working as it did before I started having issues. Fingers crossed I think the issue has been resolved. 

     

    I like how there are two options for simplifying and smoothing modes. Thank you for improving and give me more options.

     

    I feel like something was going on with the previous update in that it would not let me turn off the simplify option and the app would crash. 

     

    I like how by default the simplify and smooth modes are off. If I want to use that option then I can just simply turn it on. Thank you for changing and improving that part.
