Question

How to publish colour library assets as created by you, not Adobe?

Using the Adobe Capture app on an iPad, when I have created a colour theme and publish it, it shows that it has been created by 'Adobe' and not me.

So I have two questions.

  1. How set the identity of the creator to me, and not Adobe, for the existing assets?
  2. What settings need to be changed so that in future, I will be set as the creator, not Adobe?

Maelstrom,

That creator name is based on your Adobe ID (email address)... Is the name "adobe" in it?

Yes, it is, which would explain the situation. However, baseing the creator details on the e-mail address, whilst simple to do for Adobe, does not account for large organsations, illustrators going under pseudonyms, artists names, etc, and many more situations. It shouldn't be to difficult for Adobe to implement something that allows for a creator's name to be associated with a particular user id.

Maelstrom,

Even though you won't be able to make the change yourself, I believe I can get the team to change that for you. Direct message me here (just tap on my name) and let me know what screen name you'd like to use and the email address associated with your Adobe ID.

Sue.
