Question

They’ve ruined Adobe Capture

The recent update to Adobe capture just got rid of ALL of the useful functions for graphics. No eraser or draw tool. No editing. No slider function for noise control, no smoothing function to clean up. And the remove background tool degrades quality to an incredible degree. This just went from my most recommended phone app (for 5 years running, even when it switched from Create to capture) to absolutely useless. Why would you destroy all the useful tools? Why weaken a perfectly solid app? It was fine as is. Your company is making 20% profit margins year after year, and slowly killing free tools intentionally, while kneecapping artists who make you what you are.

Hhmm. Bummer. Why companies take features away once theyve been dveloped is confusing. Unless its problemtatic why reduce functionality.  However, Pads have diff capabilities  than phones. I usually use onAndroid 23 and mine still has erase functions, color shifts etc. i really only use onpad for better pattern builder functions.  Ive come to really love capture and the endless creations, and. Wan tomteach using it, but my biggest gripe is my libraries wont sync. So 90 % of  y creations are stuck on phone. Support was a nightmare! Still not fixed.

I just came back to Adobe Capture after not using it for years, looking for the eraser... and it's all gone! Without any editing capabilities, it is indeed completely useless to me now! Why would they remove all of it?

Im usually on my android phone. Havent noticed nay reversals. Unless it is some functionality that I didn't notice was available on an iPad initially. I can still erase in a shape and you can save shapes in color and erase there so maybe they just moved the erase feature. I hate it when they remove features I mean why you've already got the functionality there why would you undo? It never made sense to me

After posting my comment, I fiddled a bit more with Capture and found that you can still do it, just as it was before. The functionality was just not where I expected it when uploading a photo. It's available AFTER validating the upload! So it's all good, nothing has been removed!
