Abode Acrobat XI Pro no longer works on my mac

All of a sudden Abode Acrobat XI Pro no longer works on my mac, I bought this outright and it worked fine, now Adobe is asking me to buy the updated version for a monthly fee, when I purchased the original product at a high fee? does anyone know how I can get Abode Acrobat XI Pro working again?

Please make sure that you are using Adobe Acrobat XI application not Adobe Reader XI.

Could you please let us know what happens when you try to open the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro application.

Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the exact message you get.

Also let us know the dot version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and OS you are using.

It says I am using a trial version (I bought acrobat 11) and opens a screen saying: Hello, Acrobat DC. Thanks for trying Acrobat XI... and the only option available is "Buy now".
