Acrobat 9 Pro Installation Error 1006

I have Acrobat 9 Pro. I started getting error messages, but the repair didn't work. So I uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall. I'm getting EROR 1006: The volume for a file has been extermally altered so that the opened filis no longer valid. How do I reinstall? I've already checked and my flash drive is working.

Acrobat 9 is no longer supported.

What OS do you work on?

When did you get the error message?

Try downloading Acrobat referring the following link.

Thanks – I didn’t realize how out-of-date it was. So I updated Reader and am trying a 30 day trial of Pro. I appreciate your response.
