your  serial number never changes, but is dependent on your platform and language, Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite

Thanks for the advice.
But this doesn't answer my Q.

I reinstall my acrobat 9 pro and I get this message:

What should I do to activate this serial number on my laptop. It was installed on this laptop but I had to reset it due to windows problems and then had to reinstall all my software programs, including acrobat 9 pro.
