ACROBAT 9 PRO unistalled itself!

Question

I had no problems using Adobe Acrobat 9 pro in the past, even have a nice icon on my desktop. Did an update of the reader, now the program does not open when I CLICK THE SAME ICON, pops up that it is installing it but the progress bar is NOT moving.

This is frustrating as I have work to do! want to use my application.

Hi rich_8888888 ,Please try running the cleaner tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of Acrobat Progrm.Then, restart your machine and install the latest version of Acrobat 9 from here:Download Adobe Acrobat products | 9, 8Then also Make Acrobat 9 Pro as default PDF Program.Regards,Yatharth
