Refer this article to check for system compatibility : Troubleshoot Adobe Acrobat Reader installation on Mac OS ​and follow the steps mentioned in it .

Please attach a screenshot of the error message  you get ?

Also let us know the OS version on the system and the exact version of Acrobat DC you trying to install ?

If you have windows , try running this cleaner tool : Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart the system and install Acrobat from this link : Download and install Acrobat DC subscription

Hello,

Do not have a print screen at the moment.. trying to redownload. It just appears as error message and says to contact someone

I am on a macbook air.
