As subject, Acrobat DC Installer says I already have a newer version installed - What do I need to do?

I did have DC installed previously, but it stopped working, so I uninstalled it, then tried to reinstall - I think some files must have got left behind, but I have no idea where to look.

Thanks for any help,

Craig

Hi craighealdpoint

Please use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  to completely remove Acrobat DC (if you are on Windows) and then restart your system.

Then try to re-install application from following links:

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Adobe Acrobat DC : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know how it goes.
