Acrobat DC OS X Save Dialog Does Not Funciton

When I have a PDF open and want to save it under a different filename, the Save As dialog does not function at all.  It just displays a blank white window. No matter how long I wait, the blank window never populates with anything. 

Is there a solution for this problem?  I am running OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks.
