Acrobat doesn't communicate with HP Officejet 8630 scanner

I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat DC.  It can't communicate with this printer/scanner, but it will with my Canons.  Apparently this is a problem with all of the HP 8600 series. Is there a patch or solution to this probolem.

The troubleshoot you recommended didn't work. No communication with the Twain, but with WiA, and then can't make use of the sheet feeder, the the type of paper is incorrect. So, if you are scanning 10 pages, you end up doing one page at a time, with the pages already in the sheet feeder. What I end up doing is just using the scan program in the printer to produce TIF files, and then convert them to pdf.
