Hello , i need help with Adobe, i've been trying to open really but really important documents, i only installed this software a week ago and it's already broken ( Wow ) ! Everytime i try to open something or simply open Adobe Acrobat reader DC , it doesn't work and show me that little box saying : Acrobat failed to connect to DDE servers .

I actually tried to use repair on the software, but it didn't work, it still doesn't open.

Can you please help me ? I'm not good with computers, so if you know the answer, please tell me how to fix it in details ...!

Hi Pascale Rousseau,

Please try the solutions given below:-

Solution 1)

(This error occurs when you have more than 1 process of Acrobat running)

1) Go to the task manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del

2) Go to the processes in Task Manager

3) End all processes related to Acrobat

4) Launch Acrobat again.

Solution 2)

Open Acrobat navigate to Help menu & Repair the installation.

Solution 3)

Check the file association on your system.

Solution 4)

Go to start search, type REGEDIT then press Enter. Then navigating to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application and changing the Key "AcroviewA11"  to  "AcroviewR11.

Let us know if this resolves the issue.
