Acrobat plugin for Office 2016 Mac

I have a client that recently switched from Windows 7 to OS X and used an acrobat pro plugin to create indexed PDF files from her outlook folders. I was wondering if it was possible to do the same via a plugin for Office 2016 Mac. I can't find anything for Mac plugins, or does the Mac version even support plugins at all?
