Question

Acrobat Pro DC not creating bookmarked pdfs!

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (current), running on Mac el capitan (current) with Office 365 (current):

Using all approaches to creating pdf (save from word, print from word, create in Acrobat from .doc file) - pdfs are created, but interactive links not preserved (headings, appendices, TOC, in text cross references, all dead). I use styles, headings, cross references correctly and have for years. Created pdfs preserve bookmarks and interactive links. I have recently moved to Mac, and none of this works any more! I just get a dumb pdf with no bookmarks.

Help - what's going on?

J

Hi Jamie

Currently all these interactive links and bookmarks features are available in Acrobat for Windows only.

Acrobat does not support this on Mac.

Thanks

Tanvi

Thank you for your response, Tanvi - albeit kind of shockingly disappointing. What possible reason would I have for purchasing Adobe pro DC for the Mac, then? Good grief - this strikes me as Adobe not supporting Mac because of the Flash argument! Why on earth would Adobe not support bookmarks on mac?

You can create bookmarks in Adobe Acrobat.
