I need some help please.

My Adobe Acrobat Pro fails to load.  I get an error box that says "Acrobat failed to send a DDE command".  I am using Windows 10 on a Dell XPS desktop.

This program has worked well on this computer for months.  It has only recently failed to load.

Adobe Reader and Photoshop still work as before.  Only Acrobat fails to load.

Hi harbormaster ,

Try to perform the following steps:

1 -Press Windows+ R key on your keyboard>type regedit in the run dialogue box

2- Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application in Registry Editor.

3- Right click on the key and modify the key AcroViewA10 to AcroViewR10.

Please backup the Registry before making any changes .Here is a link on how to do that : https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/kb/322756

Let us know about the results.

Thank You!
